Youth Activities


Children an Young Peoples Activities and Duke of Edinburgh Awards Scheme (available for boys and girls aged between 11 and 19) .


Hull City Councils Youth Services have provided funding through their Youth Opportunity Fund to allow children and young people to have FREE use of the Sutton  Leisure and Sports facilities during its opening hours.


The sessions are run by Hull City Council youth workers supported by volunteers from Sutton Leisure and Sports, and the Duke of Edinburgh Awards scheme.  Youth workers and volunteers have had  CRB checks undertaken and have received Safeguarding (Child Protection) Training.


What’s On?


•Snooker and Pool

•Computer Club - held in the conference room,  

•Multi- sports and games, taking place on the grounds

•Healthy eating and nutrition classes

•Duke of Edinburgh Awards Scheme - Activities leading to the Dof E accredited award


These activities are supported with a catering service - hot and cold drinks as well as light snacks are available.


Costs

50p per session  (fees are reinvested into the children and young peoples activities)

Sutton Leisure and Sports for snooker, conference, learning, sports, events and community facilities.
